What warranties are provided?
All decisions and obligations regarding warranties are the exclusive responsibility of the manufacturer (Harnois Industries Inc.) and include:

* LIMITED WARRANTY SPECIFICATIONS. Harnois Industries (the Manufacturer) gives a limited warranty to the original customer/purchaser using “PowerShield” polyfabrics and polyester – PVC fabrics, here called Membranes. This warranty covers primarily membrane physical degradation caused by ultra-violet rays from the sun. Harnois warrants membrane to fill requirements as adequately as at installation time, always with limitations, conditions and exclusions as mentioned. MegaDomes® manufactured by Harnois are designed to fill requirements related to wind loads and snow loads specified for city or area where MegaDome® will be installed. This warranty does not cover discoloration, coating alteration, diminution of flexibility and star lighting who are effects caused by environment. Harnois also warrants membrane to be free from manufacturing defects (gauge, yield, UV inhibitor content, coating thickness, coating adhesion, color uniformity, etc.) and from assembling defects (sewing, welding); nevertheless, membrane must have been installed on a structure manufactured by Harnois. If limited warranty has to be applied, Harnois is the only party who will judge ineffectualness of membrane and the only party who will decide whether to repair or to replace the membrane to meet expected efficiency, in all cases Harnois shall have adequate period of time for the application of warranty. If Harnois decides to apply limited warranty, conditions and calculations will vary depending on related product and zone where is installed membrane under warranty. Each membrane carry specifically a full (100%) and a pro-rated warranty; according to the following guide lines: A) Warranty schedule varies with zones where is installed the cover; world is divided in three specified zones (see details following), B) Warranty schedule varies with type of cover and localization on building (see details following). Numbers signification – as 2-15: first number (2 or else) means number of years with full (100%) warranty –Second number (15 or else) means number of years where warranty applies on a pro-rated basis, according to the total of years on building – example: if defect occurs during the year following six full years of installation on building and if said defect appear on a cover with a 2-15 schedule, customer will have to pay for replacement 6/15 of the price of a new cover at time of replacement; 6/15 equals 40%. In all cases, installation cost and transport cost for replacement of membrane are at customer’s charge except during period covered by full warranty. If membrane is repaired under warranty as decided by Harnois, costs for repairs are at Harnois’ charge and limited warranty conditions for repaired membrane continue as specified. Each membrane supplied with a Harnois structure as top cover includes a serial number always necessary for warranty execution (2006). Limited warranty applies when cover is installed by original purchaser on a Harnois structure according to Harnois specifications; for warranty purpose, installation date is the reference. In all cases, warranty applies only if adequate tension, as specified by Harnois with relative documents, is maintained on membrane and if camera showing adequate installation is returned to Harnois (2006).
